CDA Chairman Inaugurates Two-Day Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flower Exhibition at Gardenia Hub

ISLAMABAD: December 6, 2025 : A two-day flower exhibition is being held on December 6 and 7, 2025, at CDA Model Nursery "Gardenia Hub" located on Park Road in the Federal Capital, Islamabad. In this connection, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, inaugurated the magnificent exhibition of chrysanthemum and autumn flowers for 2025. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa inspected various sections of the exhibition along with Member Administration Talat Mahmood, Member Environment Esfandyar Baloch, Director General Environment and relevant officers of the Environment Wing. Briefing Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa on the exhibition arrangements, artistic floral arrangements and preparations, the relevant officers said that the "Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flowers 2025" exhibition is being held after the upgradation of the CDA Model Nursery into "Gardenia Hub". During the briefing, it was said that the "Gardenia Hub" Model Nursery is regarded among the largest nurseries in Asia, where over 1.2 million plants of various types have been cultivated. Chairman CDA was apprised during the briefing that holding the "Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flowers 2025" exhibition after the upgradation of the Gardenia Hub model nursery is of great significance. It was further briefed that for the exhibition at Gardenia Hub, hundreds of thousands of colorful and rare flowers, particularly chrysanthemums and autumn flowers are being displayed. Similarly, various types of colorful flowers brought from across the country are also part of this exhibition. The briefing added that the exhibition includes not only indigenous but also foreign floral creations and flowers arranged in modern styles. Chairman CDA said that this exhibition is not only an excellent source of recreation and information for the citizens of the Federal Capital, Islamabad, especially the new generation. He said that this exhibition is also a significant step towards including the Federal Capital, Islamabad, among Asia's prominent exhibitions in the field of gardening and horticulture, which will provide local gardeners and professionals with awareness of new creations and innovations. Chairman CDA said that CDA's goal through such exhibitions is to make the Capital City Islamabad the most beautiful, colorful and green City. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa commended the efforts of the Environment Wing for the excellent management of the exhibition and the outstanding arrangements of the flowers. He said that the Environment Wing's efforts to make the Federal Capital Islamabad a lush green and most beautiful city are commendable. On this occasion, CDA administration said that the two-day exhibition on December 6 and 7 is fully open to the general public, where families and children can participate.
