Administration Wing is responsible for ensuring that CDA has the right personnel, resources, and support systems in place to carry out its operations effectively. Additionally, it oversees the allocation of quarters and residences to employees. Furthermore, the secretariat takes charge of all municipal functions, ensuring compliance with Municipal By-laws.

Law Wing deals with Court Cases in Civil / District Courts, High Courts and the Supreme Court of Pakistan through CDA Counsels and Legal Advisor/Addll. Legal Advisors are appointed for this purpose. Furthermore, drafting/vetting of all documents involving legal implications including legislative measures, preparation of defence for cases before the honourable courts in which the authority is a party and provide legal advice where necessary, are on the day-to-day conduct of the business of the Authority.

The directorate is responsible for a wide range of critical functions, including:

  1. Investigation/inquires pertaining to Estate Wing. Engineering Wing, Environment Wing, Planning & Designed Wing, Finance Wing, Admin Wing and Law Wing as well as addressing complaints received directly or through the CDA Board Members.
  2. Inquiries and Reporting: Conducting inquires as assigned by the CDA Board, gathering information on security and corruption issues, and submitting security and situational reports to the Chairman, CDA.
  3. Reporting irregularities: reporting malpractices and irregularities, such as corruption, misuse of resources, manpower issues, attendance monitoring, pilferage and shortcoming. Implementing orders from the Board where necessary.
  4. Chairman's Support: Providing assistance to the Chairman of CDA as required.
  5. Headquarters Security: Ensuring the security, watch and ward of the CDA Headquarters.
  6. Employee verification: Verifying the backgrounds and credentials of CDA employees, including certificates and degrees, as well as status of affected parties.
  7. Night Patrolling: Conducting night patrols for added security.
  8. Store Checks: Periodically checking the CDA's stores.
  9. Civil Administration Liaison: Maintaining communication and coordination with civil administration.

Efficiently performing these duties, the security directorate plays a key role in maintaining the integrity, security and operations of the CDA/MCI and contributes to its overall effectiveness.
