CDA Raises Rs16.44 Billion in Two Days Through Commercial Plot Auction

ISLAMABAD: August 5, 2026: Three-day public auction of commercial plots in the Federal Capital Islamabad, organized by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), successfully continued on its second day. Over the first two days of the auction of commercial plots in the Federal Capital Islamabad, plots worth a total of 16.44 billion rupees were sold. According to details, on the second day of the commercial plot auction, Agro Farm No. 18, located on Murree Road, was auctioned for 1,212 million rupees. Meanwhile, Agro Farm No. 17-A, also located on Murree Road, was auctioned for 966 million rupees. On the second day of the auction, constructed shop No. 8-A in the Blue Area Parking Plaza was auctioned for 151.66 million rupees. Similarly, shop No. 10-A in the Blue Area Parking Plaza was auctioned for 147.71 million rupees, while constructed shop No. 12-A in the Blue Area Parking Plaza was auctioned for 153.63 million rupees. Overall on the second day of the public auction, plots worth a total of 2,630.87 million rupees were sold, whereas on the first day, plots worth 13,806.87 million rupees had been sold. Three-day commercial plot auction will continue on the third day, August 6, at the Jinnah Convention Center. It is noteworthy that this is a golden opportunity to purchase and invest in commercial plots in the Federal Capital, Islamabad. On this occasion, Chairman of the Auction Committee, Muhammad Umair, said that the revenue generated from the public auction will be spent on improvement of the city's infrastructure, completion of mega-projects, addressing the long-standing issues of citizens, providing civic services and resolving water problems as well. The received bids will be presented to the CDA Board after thorough scrutiny, which is the authorized forum to approve or reject the bids. Chairman of the Auction Committee, Muhammad Umair, expressing gratitude to the investors who participated in the public auction, said that the CDA is highly committed to improving civic facilities, developing infrastructure and promoting the construction and development of the City.
