CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa Celebrates Eid with Orphans at Edhi Home, Commends Police on Duty in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: 21 March, 2026: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, along with officers from CDA and the district administration, visited Edhi Home Islamabad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. On this joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa spent joyous moments of Eid with helpless persons at Edhi Home and distributed Eidi and gifts among the orphaned and destitute children residing there. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that serving the orphaned, destitute children, disabled persons and homeless elderly residing at Edhi Home is a noble mission. He remarked that Edhi Home's services for destitute individuals are commendable. Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, urged that orphaned and destitute people must be remembered and included in the joys of Eid-ul-Fitr. He said that Eid teaches us the values of humanity and brotherhood. Edhi Home administration expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman CDA for sharing in the joys of Eid and distributing gifts. Furthermore, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and CDA Chairman, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, visited security checkpoints and met with police personnel on duty. He paid tribute to the police officers and personnel on duty on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He further instructed them to perform their duties with full diligence. He further said that ensuring the best security arrangements and providing the best facilities to citizens in the Federal Capital Islamabad is our top priority.
