This digital workflow will pass through various stages, ensuring transparency, speed and accountability. The briefing highlighted that among the most prominent features of the new system is real-time tracking of online applications, enabling applicants to know the status, progress and processing stage of their application at any time. Furthermore, the briefing said that a significant reduction in manual intervention will also decrease the chances of processing delays. Similarly, it will facilitate departmental accountability and help expedite the disposal of property-related cases. It was briefed that under this system all land records have been securely digitized which will not only reduce the risk of data loss or damage but also enhance coordination and collaboration between various departments. Chairman CDA was informed that this automation system will minimize the potential for human error and help improve service delivery. Another key feature of this system is effective monitoring at senior levels. Under this modern system, relevant senior officials of the authority will be able to continuously monitor to ensure case processing within stipulated timelines. Chairman CDA was told that all payments under this system can be made cashless and real-time monitoring of all transactions will be ensured alongside digital payments. The briefing said that the cashless payment mechanism has been developed by CDA using its in-house resources. Chairman CDA was informed that initially, this digital system has been activated only for cases pertaining to Sector D-12, however, other sectors will gradually be incorporated into this system in the near future to ensure the provision of quality, transparent and timely services to citizens. Under this advanced system, citizens will be able to easily access all relevant information with a single click.
