Chairman CDA and IG Islamabad Police Discuss Law and Order and Security Measures in the Federal Capital

ISLAMABAD: November 5, 2025: A meeting was held between Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and Inspector General of Islamabad Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, at the CDA Headquarters on Wednesday to review the law and order situation in the Federal Capital and ensure foolproof security arrangements. During the meeting, IG Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi briefed the Chairman CDA on the measures being implemented to further strengthen law and order in the city and enhance crime prevention mechanisms. He stated that protecting the lives, property, and honor of Islamabad’s citizens is the top priority of the Islamabad Police, which continues to work round-the-clock to ensure public safety. The IG informed that the Islamabad Safe City Project has been upgraded according to modern standards, with comprehensive monitoring of major roads, centers, and sectors through advanced surveillance cameras and technology. He added that prompt action is being taken against criminal elements to effectively control crime in the city. Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized the need for special monitoring of Islamabad’s entry and exit points and directed that city-wide patrolling be further intensified. He instructed that a zero-tolerance policy be adopted towards criminal activity to maintain peace and order in the capital. He further directed that integrated coordination among all relevant departments and law enforcement agencies be strengthened to make Islamabad’s security arrangements fully foolproof. Chairman CDA reaffirmed that all available resources and the latest technology will be utilized to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and honor in the Federal Capital at all costs.
