ISLAMABAD: October 28, 2025 — Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, visited the ‘Assan Khidmat Markaz’ project on Tuesday. He was accompanied by Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza and relevant officers. During the visit, Chairman CDA conducted a detailed review of the ongoing construction activities at the site. The concerned officers briefed Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa on the progress of the project, informing him that along with the accelerated pace of work, high standards of quality are being ensured. It was apprised that brickwork and plastering of the building are progressing rapidly, while other key construction activities — including the development of washrooms and interior finishing — are also advancing swiftly. The Chairman was informed that the overall construction and finishing works of the ‘Assan Khidmat Markaz’ are in full swing and expected to be completed within the stipulated timeframe. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa reaffirmed that the CDA is fully committed to enhancing service delivery for citizens in line with the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi. He emphasized that the establishment of the ‘Assan Khidmat Markaz’ aims to provide multiple civic and administrative services to the residents of Islamabad under one roof. He further stated that the development of the ‘Assan Khidmat Markaz’ will not only facilitate citizens by offering integrated public services in a single location but will also contribute to advancing the government’s objectives of e-governance, efficiency, and improved service delivery. Chairman CDA added that modern technology and contemporary design principles are being employed to develop the ‘Assan Khidmat Markaz’. He noted that this center will set a new benchmark for professional, corporate-style public service and citizen interaction, ultimately helping to make Islamabad a model city.
