CDA Chairman Reviews Progress of National Police Academy Project, Directs Timely Completion

ISLAMABAD: 18 March, 2026: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, along with Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza and other relevant officers visited the under-construction National Police Academy project and reviewed the progress and conducted a detailed inspection of the construction works of the project. Briefing Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, regarding the progress made on the National Police Academy project, relevant officers informed that the National Police Academy project includes the construction of a 9-storey building, of which the construction work on 8 floors has been completed, while the construction work on the 9th floor of the National Police Academy building will be completed this month. Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, was informed that finishing and renovation work on the building is also progressing rapidly to complete the project. During the briefing, he was further informed that a rappelling tower and obstacles, which are part of the modern training facilities at the academy, are also being constructed. Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, directed that the construction works of the project be completed quickly. He instructed that the construction of the rappelling tower and training obstacles be completed within this month itself. Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, said that proper arrangements for electricity, water and other training facilities should be ensured. He said that the remaining construction works of the project should be completed at the earliest. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that aesthetically pleasing landscaping and horticulture work should also be carried out around the project. He further added that the timely completion of projects initiated for the improvement of infrastructure in the Federal Capital, Islamabad is among our priorities.
