ISLAMABAD: 1 March, 2026: Federal Secretary for Interior, Captain ® Muhammad Khurram Agha, visited the check posts established at various locations in the Federal Capital, Islamabad. On this occasion, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and other relevant officers were also accompanying him. Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, while giving a detailed briefing regarding the arrangements and operations made for the safety of citizens at the check posts said that comprehensive measures are being taken for the protection of life and property of the citizens of the Federal Capital, Islamabad. In this connection, Islamabad Police personnel are deployed 24/7 at all check posts for the safety of citizens. During the briefing, it was informed that strict monitoring of the entry and exit points of the Federal Capital, Islamabad, is being ensured through police pickets. The vehicles and motorcycles entering the Federal Capital, Islamabad, are being checked to deal with any untoward incident. During the briefing, it was informed that the process of affixing M-Tags on vehicles and motorcycles entering the Federal Capital, Islamabad, is ongoing. All check posts of the city are being monitored through CCTV cameras of Islamabad Safe City and modern technology. Federal Secretary for Interior, Captain ® Muhammad Khurram Agha, directed the officers of the police and district administration to remain alert at all times and perform their professional duties wholeheartedly. He directed that no negligence regarding law and order and security in the Federal Capital, Islamabad, will be tolerated at any cost. On this occasion, the resolve to improve the law and order situation and make the Federal Capital, Islamabad, the safest city was also reaffirmed.
